Why does OZONE kill pathogens so effectively?

Ozone is highly reactive. This means that when exposed to other molecules, it readily reacts. When it comes to disinfecting, the oxidation reaction targets microorganisms and destroys them on contact.

WHAT does OZONE kill?

Ozone has proven to be highly effective in killing bacteria, fungi, and molds and inactivating viruses both on the surfaces and suspended in the air. Ozone is proven to be effective also for the inactivation of the SARS virus.

Why does it need to be trapped in water?

Ozone as a gas can be harmful to health. When inhaled, ozone can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts of ozone can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and throat irritation.
Mixed with water, it becomes Aqueous Ozone which is created using electricity to split the oxygen molecules, turning O2 into O3. This is infused in normal tap water, creating Aqueous Ozone. While in this state (about 20 minutes) it will kill 99.99% of germs. Aqueous ozonated water has been used for cleaning for over 100 years. In 1906, the first ever water treatment plant used aqueous ozone to effectively treat water without the use of chemicals. Since then, it has been used in a wide range of settings including Olympic swimming pools and military facilties. This process is expensive and uses a machine that is added to the filtration system. How long does it take to dry on a surface?

This will depend on the operator’s adjustment of water fogger/misting
volume output, weather or environmental conditions. Generally speaking, most conditions would provide up to 20 minutes for full evaporation

99.9% of microbes are eliminated in seconds, and the Aqueous Ozone will continue to eliminate until full evaporation, approximately 20-30 minutes.

The application of Aqueous Ozone will continue to eliminate up to 30 minutes. Can it be used in spaces that contain lighting, electronics, ventilation equipment?

Can it be sprayed around people / animals?

Yes. Unlike traditional ozone generators, we are using water as a safe "delivery system" for the ozone, It similar to swimming pool water that has ozone equipment or chlorine. In fact, our SafetyZone was used to treat odors such as a dog that came in contact with a skunk, and has not only completely eliminated the odor, but did not bother the animal or human at all.

If used in a turkey barn for example, will it kill the ammonia smell and for how long?

Yes. It will oxidize the ammonia removing the smell till the next round of waste

When sold, how long does it take to get one delivered to the end user:

Currently, we have machines that would be available for shipment within 2 weeks. Depending on manufacturing demands, this could increase the delivery times.

Is there a written warranty and if so, how long it is valid for?

How long does it take to get repairs, on average?

It can be fast such as a 1 day turn around. However, we are in CA and
shipping is the wait time. We have been building water technology machines
for over 25 years. Many units are still operating daily for 8 hours per a day for
the last 25 years. We have used most of the proven equipment in your
equipment however 03 is a powerful oxidizer and this machine is the first of
this style technology.

Are you in the process of doing any type of formal testing to prove the efficacy of the device?

Yes, It is planned to go to an accredited test lab. At this moment it seems the best testing solution is with the ATP Test.
