What is the difference?

EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)

Risk assessment is crucial to the process of making decisions about pesticides, both new and existing:

New pesticides must be evaluated before they can enter the market.

Existing pesticides must be re-evaluated periodically to ensure that they continue to meet the appropriate safety standard.

FDA (Food & Drug Administration)

FDA is responsible for protecting public health by regulating human drugs and biologics, animal drugs, medical devices, tobacco products, food (including animal food), cosmetics, and electronic products that emit radiation.

NSF (National Sanitation Foundation)

Choosing a product certified by NSF lets you know the company complies with strict standards and procedures imposed by NSF. From extensive product testing and material analyses to unannounced plant inspections, every aspect of a product's development is thoroughly evaluated before it can earn our certification.
